So lam on the basic plan as of now but I want to purchase a theme from Shopify partner: fkx media & use it for my online store. If I downgrade from the basic plan to starter plan later on will I lose that theme? I only upgraded from the starter plan because it wouldn’t let me add the theme Imk thanks!

You can download the theme if you are not sure then upload on the starter plan just to be sure.
You can’t add or change themes on starter plan but you can on basic but what I’m wondering is if I buy it on basic plan then downgrade to starter plan later on would I lose access to theme
I think we can upload themes on starter plan, cause I do it regularly
You can create a dummy account to test if its work or not

If you are on the Starter plan you can only use the Spotlight theme regardless of whether or not you downgraded from the Basic plan first. Please note that the Starter plan is primarily for merchants looking to sell via messaging apps and social media platforms, and if you want to build out your online store to sell online our other plans are worth considering.
