Hi everyone! I don’t know where to ask but I really want to know if it is possible to connect payment method to shopify store without registering the company or individual entrepreneurship because every payment gateway
which I try to connect ask me for company docs… So can I connect payment without company? Thank you guys so much!

The payment providers that are available to you and your business vary by region. You can select your country on this page and see which gateways you can use. Each payment provider will have different requirements, and you can contact the ones you’re interested in to see if you’d be able to use their services without a registered company.
If you’re in a country that is eligible to use Shopify Payments, you can view the requirements here. These include:
- Your Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Your banking information
Depending on your region, there may be additional information needed to set up Shopify Payments. Refer to the list of requirements for each supported country.
Most payment providers do require you to be registered as a business or sole proprietor for legal/tax purposes. If you’re unsure how to proceed, I recommend contacting a business support center in your area.
