Can I link Shoppable image to collections instead of products?

I am adding a Shoppable image to my site and I am only able to link individual products to hotspots within the image.

Is there any CSS I can insert so that I can link hotspots to collections instead of only products? Is that a possibility?

I also would like to link collections to shoppable image hotspots. I asked Shopify support and was told that coding would be required.
