I hope you’re having a great day. I Have a question for you. Hopefully u can answer it.
My Shopify 30- day free trial has just ended today; and I’m not ready to pick a plan yet. I had just started creating my “demo” store. My question is: can I hold/maintain my store information/status for a while until I’m confident to pick a plan and continue working on my store? If so, how long would that be?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Lili
I wanted to mention that to be eligible to pause your store using either Pause or Pause and Build, your store needs to be on a paid plan and at least 60 days past the free trial period. This means that if you’d had 30 days of free trial, you are not eligible to switch directly onto either of these plans.
That being said, if you are looking to take some time before selecting a plan and continuing to work on your store, I would suggest simply closing your store for now. You can still re-open your store in the future when you are ready, and your store’s information is guaranteed for 2 years.
Did you have any questions about getting your store setup? We do have a great video tutorial on setting up a Shopify store from our YouTube Help Center for when you’re ready to start again. Let me know if you have any questions!
