Hi, this is my problem:
- My automatic free shipping discount kicks in when a customer has a $49.00 subtotal.
- The reason this is an issue is because sometimes the customer uses a coupon code which means that he / she effectively pays less than $49.00, but still gets the free shipping discount.
- The solution, as I see it, is to have my free shipping discount be applied based on my customer’s total rather than subtotal.
Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!
Hi @jsclingman
You can uncheck these boxes so it won’t be combined with other discount coupons
Please check if it can help you
Thanks!

Thanks @pawankumar Unfortunately, I’m looking for a solution that will not require me to uncheck those boxes, but I appreciate your taking the time to mention that!
Hi @jsclingman
You can install this app to solve the above problems
Haptech: B2B/wholesale
Please see the images.
@jsclingman , if I’m not mistaken, Shopify’s native discounts validate the free shipping minimum requirement on the remaining total after product / order discounts have been applied. I just tested this and can confirm that as soon as a discount code is applied in checkout, the free shipping is removed.
Are you using a 3rd-party app for managing discounts that might not be doing this correctly?
