Can I modify a course app feature on Shopify?

Very new to Shopify!

if I avail an app on the shopify, let’s say a course app, will I be able to modify the app such as adding an additional feature on the backend?

If so, I encourage you to connect with the app developer directly. As the majority of apps available within the Shopify App Store are considered to be third-party, the app developer would be able to provide clarification on an app’s capabilities. They will also be able to provide further assistance with any questions that you may have. To get in contact with an app developer, you can head to the Shopify App Store and select Support > Send A Message.
