The requirements for the card you use for paying your Shopify invoices are:

  • Must be a valid credit card from Mastercard, Visa, or American Express
  • OR must be a debit card that is co‑branded with Mastercard, Visa, or American Express

Some additional things to keep in mind are:

  • Your card needs to allow for recurring payments in USD.

  • Your card needs to have international capabilities
