Can I purchase products when the shop password is enabled?

Hi,

My store is currently protected with passwords. Can I buy products in the store?

The shop owner asked me to try to buy products on the store with a credit card before the store opened.

You can make purchases with the storefront password enabled as long as the store is subscribed to one of our monthly plans. Once your store is subscribed, then you will have access to an active checkout.

That being said, while processing a live order is one way of testing the checkout, it’s also important to note that some payment gateways may not return transaction fees to merchants for refunding online orders. Instead, we’d recommend turning on test mode for Shopify Payments to simulate successful transactions. Or, if you’re using a third-party gateway, then we’d encourage checking with your payment provider to see if they have a test mode that you can use or if they return transaction fees on refunds.

I’m relieved to hear that.

I already tried to simulate transactions via Bogus Gateway.

In this test with credit cards, we want to make sure that the logistics app (OPENLOGI) will work well.
