Can I resume operations after my Shopify store was frozen for 27 days?

Hi,

My shopify store is frozen…27 days now…

I want to pay SHOPIFY bill on 4th jan and wish to resume operations…

will there be any problem?

Please advise…

That is a good question. When Shopify freezes a store we maintain all the data for up to 90 days. As your store has been frozen for 27 days your data will be maintained. Shopify bills in the UTC time zone. If payment fails on the third and final attempt, then the store is automatically frozen at 12:00 am UTC on the date that the bill is due. If your local time zone is behind UTC time, such as in North America, then your store seems to freeze a day earlier. Pay your bill to unfreeze your store.

Steps:1. Log in as the store owner.

  1. Successfully pay the outstanding balance on your account.

If you have multiple outstanding bills, then you’re prompted to pay each invoice completely to unfreeze your store. To download your bills, you can export your billing history. As Shopify bills on a 30-day cycle, it is likely that you will be invoiced once more shortly after reopening your store. This second invoice is valid.
