My account was terminated, violating section 7 of Shopify acceptable use policy. I read the policy and I still do not understand how I violated the policy, and all effort to appeal has proven abortive. What will happen to the domain connected to the store? Can I still use it on a new store, or does this mean I’ll have to buy a new domain, different from my registered business domain? I am asking because I no longer have access to this store

If you have purchased a custom domain from Shopify, you can connect with us directly to have it transferred to another domain provider. This will allow our support team to take a closer look, as we wouldn’t have access to any account details through the Community.
The connect with us, you can:

Head over to our Help Center.

In the virtual assistance chat box, please type I can’t log in.

This will populate a few resources, where you can wait a few moments until you see the I still need help option.

Click Account Support.

Scroll down until you see the option to chat with an advisor.
