I am worried my code customizations will be ruined when I switch to Dawn 8.0 from 7.01. I made a copy of my current Dawn 7.01, if I upgrade and I didn’t like the changes, can I revert back to 7.01 from the copy I made?

When updating 8.0, it will download a new theme and your 7.0 is still exist without be replaced.
