Hi, my question is if I can sell products in Shopify using my ITIN because I don’t have SSN.

As per our Shopify Payments Terms of Service in all regions, a merchant’s details are required for every Shopify Payments account. When onboarding to Shopify Payments, you are required to provide all 9 digits of your ITIN as verification, even if you have an EIN for your business.
I’d also like to share our resource on Information Requirements for Shopify Payments. During the onboarding process, you’ll need to provide verification documents such as:
- Documents for identity and home address verification
- Documents for business verification
Once the documents are submitted via the secure upload banner in your Shopify admin, our team will need to process and review the information.

Is this official statement from shopify that if we dont have SSN then we shall upload ITIN number to get shopify payment activated.
I just would want to double check 
So any updates on this issue? did you get your Shopify payment activated using ITIN only?

US merchants (using US Shopify Payments) are required to provide all 9 digits of their SSN or ITIN as verification, even if they have an EIN for their business.
