I’m starting to build out an app or two for clients based on some changes we’re making that will make it easier to build out an app than a theme. What I want to clarify is if there is information on sharing access/ownwership of the app with my client. The majority of the build will be in an app extension to create some custom blocks for use while we transition between two themes, so we can’t use a shopify admin install (becasue it can’t use the app extensions feature).
What I’m doing now is setting up to build a custom app with a “Single-merchant install link”, but I want to know that I’m not setting my client up for problems later if for any reason the collaboration ends. The app as I’m setting it up is tied to my partner account. Is it possible to transfer ownership of the app later without uninstalling the app on the client store (and thus eliminating all theme custom blocks that we built)?
Or would it be possible to share full ownership of the app with the client as if they were on my partner account team? (without granting them access to my other clients) That way they could make code edits if necessary (because I take vacations here and there)
