Trying to decide if shopify is best product to use. We have very small amount of sales… It will always be Jan- March only. Is it possible to turn store OFF the rest of the year?

That is possible for you to do. You can simply run your store during its in-season months and then deactivate your store once you are no longer open. Should you decide to return to your Shopify store, you can reactivate the store again by selecting a plan again.

This is a St. Patrick’s Day Parade. We sell a flag, some tshirts, posters… mainly the flags sell.
Dirk, I do have another question. Our website was created (NOT BY ME) in Drupal. I’m looking at shopify because it can be integrated into my site from what I understand. Is the smallest package the $29 one or is there something smaller we could start with? We had a total of 43 orders in our parade season this year.
Maybe it is possible, but extremely not optimal from the SEO point of view. In our opinion, it is better to maintain such a store all year round and carry out constant marketing activities. There are other e-commerce platforms as well, so you don’t need to be limited to shopify. For example, woocomerce is a great free wordpress plugin.

We do offer a Shopify Lite plan that is just $9/month. However, that plan does not include an online store webpage that you can build and edit. The cheapest plan that includes an online store is that basic plan at $29/month.
