Can I upload an SVG file to the Canopy theme?

I have a logo in svg file format and I want to use this on my site since it’s the best for maintaining image quality. Seems Shopify doesn’t allow direct upload of svg, how can I get svg format uploaded? I’m using the Canopy theme.

I added logo-SavvyCommons.svg as an asset.

can you please share your header code

What’s the header code? Which folder would it be under, Layouts, Sections, Assets? Once I’m in the right folder what part of the code do you need, all of it?
