Can I use a static IP address for my ecommerce store?

I’ve been trying to figure out a workaround as to why I can’t connect to our shopify website from within company network.

I need to find a static ip for our website so I can create a bypass from our internal LAN.

The ip that I am pinging to shopify is: 23.227.38.65

However, when we try it replies, “Direct IP access no allowed”.

I assume because its a shared IP address, is there a work around?

@coralwebsites did you find a solution to this? We are having the same issue. Our internal network si the same name as our domain name … we’ve always been able to put in a static ip address to get around that issue but running into the same wall since the shopify IP address is not static to us. Any insights would be appreciated. Thx
