Can I use both Printify and Printful on my e-commerce platform?

Hi, I’m using printify right now with my Shopify. I’m wondering if I can also use printful? Or can I only have 1?

To answer your question, you can definitely use more than one print-on-demand app at one time. Since each service has a different selection of products, a lot of our merchants will use multiple services to have a wider range of product options.

Keep in mind that this would require that you set up some manual shipping rates, based on price or weight, and location. Each app uses its own method for how and when they make and how they ship, so you’ll need to do a little merging of those details in your Admin.

  • This will likely bump up your shipping costs (or cut into your profit margin) as multiple packages from different locations might need to be sent for each order.
  • This would also require some clarification when notifying customers about when to expect their items (think shipping rate names, shipping policies, notifications, etc).
  • If a customer places an order with products from separate POD services, they will receive their order in multiple packages.

Thanks. My shipping usually just calculates automatically at checkout and seems to be working for the new P.O.D. I added? Do I still have to manually do it?

Thanks for getting back to me! Which POD services are you using? Certain print on demand apps provide the predetermined shipping profiles. If so, you won’t have to manually add them yourself. For example, if you use Printful they push all of their flat-rate profiles to your Shopify account and automatically assign the product to the right shipping profile.
