If the shop is not opened yet, can I use forward emails? At the moment the website says, “Opening soon” and I don’t receive emails. I wonder if my settings are wrong.

My understanding is that the ‘opening soon’ page’s email form adds the email to your ‘customers’ list in the back-end admin, and then automatically emails the customers letting them know that the store is now live, when you remove the storefront password.
It doesn’t email you (as the store owner) when someone puts their email in.
