May i use my swedish id person number to use shopify, buy and sell products? I donr have a company yet, so i wonder if i can use id numbers in stead

It sounds like you may have been signing up for a payment provider to process transactions online. Please let me know if that’s where you were asked for a business ID, and if so, which payment provider(s) you’re setting up. I’m happy to take a look into the requirements with you.

i want to open online store and buy and sell products in Sweden. I have not signed for anything yet at Shopify. In Sweden if you sel for less than 3000 dollars then you can have hobby activity, without registering any company. So i wonder if i can do it with my personal id numbers?

Once you’re setting up a payment provider to process transactions on your store, there is additional personal information requested. The requirements differ between payment providers, and you may be asked for additional verification documents.
