Can I use PayPal if I deactivate Shopify payments in the USA?

I am based in the USA, If i deactivate Shopify payments, can i use Paypal to collect the funds? Do i need a bank account too?

You can indeed use the PayPal gateway to capture payments and allow your customers to complete their purchase on your online store. In order to receive payouts from PayPal, you will need to have a active bank account to receive your payouts.
