Can I use shopify payments for my vape dropshipping business?

Vaping (and vaping related products) are considered a prohibited business so they cannot be sold through the Shopify Payments gateway, as per the terms of service:

In terms of alternate gateways, please let me know what country you will be operating your business out of so I can provide some options for you.

The high risk gateway you can use in the UK is Sage Pay.

We recommend reaching out to their support to ensure you are eligible for a merchant account and understand the rules and regulations for the gateway.

@Elle unfortunately as we are also selling CBD based products we can’t use Sage as it is prohibited.

Emerchant Broker (integrates with Shopify via PinWheel Payments) is another high risk gateway available in the UK you can look into!

Outside of these options, it may be worth considering other methods of payment, such as bank transfers. If you enable one these options in your payment settings, customers will be able to select them at checkout.
