Hello , i am a resident of a country called Georgia (Not the U.S State)
and my business is registered in UK with that can i use shopify payments because my business is located in UK ? or do i have to live in uk as well ?

Typically, Shopify Payments is region based, so you’d want your business and place of residence to be within the same region. This is because our Payments Partners may request some verification information from you to complete the setup of your account, and having matching information makes this process loads easier and quicker for you. If you are adamant on trying to have your shop set up with a UK location, then you will asked for some documentation that justifies your eligibility. These documents usually look as follows:
- Government issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- Business registration document (Registered in that country with the government)
- Tracking showing they are shipping from the country they signed up from or Proof of address (not a forwarding address).
