Hey there, @DrDoctor . Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community with your question regarding Shopify Payments! I hope you’re doing well today!
Before we dig in, I’m curious as to why you’re looking to use Shopify Payments? I’d love to hear your reasoning behind this request, just to so I can have some additional context.
Typically, Shopify Payments is region based, so you’d want your business and place of residence to be within the same region. This is because our Payments Partners may request some verification information from you to complete the setup of your account, and having matching information makes this process loads easier and quicker for you. It’s usually best to opt for a payment processor support within your region when opening a store. You can view a list of supported third-party gateways at this link here: https://bit.ly/3u5fXcY.

If you’re unable to provide any of the above information, then it’s best to refer to a third-party option. If you can produce the documents outlined above, then we can look into having your request reviews via the live team. You’d reach out to them using this link here.
I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
