Hello dear community, I’ve been trying to find a solution for this with no luck. Maybe you can help me.
Our store has 2 locations:
Location A: This location is used for “standard shipping” (next day) orders. So if a client purchases and chooses “standard shipping”, we will ship the product from this warehouse.
Location B: This location is used for “express shipping” (within 3 hours) orders. Same as above but with express shipping orders.
Is there a way to configure Shopify (or any third-party app) so that whenever a client chooses “standard shipping", the product is deducted automatically from Location A’s inventory, and when a client chooses “express shipping”, the inventory gets deducted from Location B’s inventory?
Is this even possible?
Thanks a lot.
Hi @fmartinezja ,
Yes, you can set it up in under 5 minutes using Order Fulfillment Guru. Simply select the Professional plan after installing the app, and go to Auto-assign locations & partners and create 2 Fulfillment priorities based on shipping method. Then assign either Location A. Repeat the steps for Location B. That’s it!

Hi Ronald, thanks for your reply!
This does seem like a good solution but I haven’t been able to make it work properly. Either the product gets deducted from both locations, or it gets removed from the wrong one. I’ve contacted support to see if I have something configured wrong. If this ends up being the right solution, I’ll come back to mark it as such
Just wanted to give an update on this. The app works as intended and does exactly what I needed. Thank you!
