I read some online tutorial that says by adding some metafields in metafields guru can help with SEO.
The solutions are: for a product,
(a) add namespace:public,key:title_tag metafield;
(b) add namespace:public,key:description_tag metafield;
(c) add namespace:public,key:google_product_category_tag metafield.
I have the following question:
(1) With shopify 2.0 metafields function, can I create the same metafields using inbuilt metafield instead of metafield guru app to achieve the purpose of improving SEO?
(2) It seems like product page has similar funtions of the metafields I mentioned:
a. namespace:public,key:title_tag is this the same as page title in seo description section in terms of SEO?
b. namespace:public,key:description_tag is this the same as page description in seo description section in terms of SEO?
c.namespace:public,key:google_product_category_tag is this the same as standard product category in terms of SEO?
I’m trying to improve SEO, but don’t want to do duplicate work.
Any insight will be much appreciated!
