Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure this gets resolved.
To share some insight, only one primary payment gateway can be operating on a shop at a time. If it’s decided to use a third-party payment provider (i.e PayPal), you will not have access to any other payment provider within the shop. While I can completely understand how this may not be ideal, you will want to decide what payment gateway best suits your business needs.
For more information on accepting credit cards online, you can check out our Third-Party Payment Providers document.
Please let me know if you have any other concerns.
Thank you, Blair, for the help.
My issue is that I’ll need to accept other types of payments besides credit cards, and none of the providers I’m going to use are equipped to handle all transactions. That’s why I’ll need to use two at the same time. As soon as the customer selects the payment method, they will be redirected to the provider that is equipped for that particular transaction.
Thanks for the prompt response and sharing those additional details.
While I can completely understand the impact, only one primary payment gateway can be operating on a shop at a time. The best thing you can do is decide what payment gateway/method best suits your business needs.
I will however, be sure to pass along this feedback to our developers. We’re always looking for ways to improve the platform.
