Great question! The Buy X, Get Y discount defaults to multiplying the free or discounted item if the purchase quantity conditions are met more than once. So in your case, every $100 interval. If you want to prevent this, you can check the box labeled ‘Set maximum number of uses per order’ in the Customer Gets section if you wish to only allocate one free or discounted item per purchase.
