I just put my account/website on pause because I’m having a baby soon and didn’t want any incoming orders for about a 6 month period. I just want to make sure with this feature since I am paying the $9 a month to keep the account but just on placing it on pause, that my account won’t be deactivated or that there’s only a certain amount of time I’m allowed to have my account paused?

There is no time restriction for the Pause and Build plan. When you want to start selling products again, you can reopen your store by choosing a new plan.
Please note that all third-party apps remain active after you pause your store. If you want to pause your apps, you need to cancel them individually.

You are correct! Your store will not be deactivated as long as you are on the Pause and Build plan. You will still have access to your Shopify admin and be able to edit your products when you need to, but your checkout is disabled. This does mean that customers can review your products, but they can’t purchase them. Please let me know if you would prefer to have your site password protected so your customers will not be able to access your products; I would be happy to help explain how you can do that.
