Can one asset have multiple names on a website?

I’m trying to locate 2 assets which appear on my site. The names they have under the asset list do not appear when I enter them in the search bar and I’ve physically looked through the code and can not find them, although they are on the site. Is it possible that they were placed with one name, and then had the name changed later? Thanks

For better search results in the file use the below chrome extension.

There are generally three possibilities.

#1. Locate it in the assets folder.
#2. Settings > Files section
#3. Or coming from the third-party app.

Generally, if your site is using lazy loading then in the image file end different dimensions will be added like
Example: 150x,etc

So try to search using the original file name.
