Can one store have two primary domains without redirection?

Hi,

I wanted to ask if it was possible to have two domains for the one store, without having redirection of one of the domains.

For example, I have two domains (onlinestore.com) & (onlinestoresale.com) - is it possible to have these both be primary domains?

Reason i’m asking is, i’m running FB ads from different business managers, and wanted to keep everything separate incase there becomes an issue with one of the domains in the future, and therefore it won’t damage both bm’s.

Thanks in advance!

You can add up to 20 domains or subdomains to your Shopify store, in addition to your . myshopify.com URL. If your store is on the Shopify Plus plan, then you can add up to 1,000 domains or subdomains.
Let me know if I can help

Hi @scala

You can refer to this article
https://pagefly.io/blogs/shopify/multiple-shopify-stores

I know you can add multiple in Shopify, but apart from the primary they are all subdomains which re-direct to it. Which is not what I am needing.

Hi @scala

Yes, you can have multiple domains for your store and the option to have a redirect setup is entirely optional.

In your store admin you will have a primary domain setup, but as long as you disable the domain redirection you can connect additional domains as their own unique path. You should see a toggle option in your domain settings page to turn this off or on once you have your domains connected in there.

Hi Shay,

I don’t have that option. Please see screenshot!
