A merchant is asking two questions about payment processing on Shopify:
Question 1: PayPal payout destination
When PayPal Business Account is active as a payment method, customer payments are received directly into that PayPal account. When customers pay via PayPal Express Checkout, funds transfer from the customer’s account to the merchant’s PayPal business account. PayPal accepts various payment sources including credit cards, bank accounts, and PayPal balances.
Question 2: Missing Shopify Payments option
The merchant cannot find the Shopify Payments payout option (credit/debit) that appears in tutorial videos. Shopify Payments is only available in certain countries/regions. Merchants can check availability for their location through Shopify’s resources, or search for alternative third-party payment providers if Shopify Payments isn’t supported in their region.
Status: The support representative provided explanatory resources but the merchant’s specific eligibility for Shopify Payments remains unconfirmed.

(1) My PayPal (Business Account) is Active as Payment Method. (sorry for this question) Is this also where the payment/my payout will be received?
(2) I saw from YouTube videos that there is an option for Shopify Payments Payout (Credit/Debit). But I don’t have that option. How can I access that payment option for my customer to pay through Credit/Debit Card?

I understand you have questions surrounding payment methods, how to receive payments and how customers can pay.
In regard to PayPal, when you create your account on Shopify, Shopify creates a PayPal Express Checkout account using the email address you use to sign in to your store. If you already have a PayPal account with that email address, then you receive payments from orders made with PayPal right away. This means that when a customer places an order on your store using PayPal Express Checkout, PayPal will remove the funds from the customer’s account and transfer the funds to your PayPal business account. PayPal allows payment through credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit, or PayPal account balances. You can find more information here: PayPal Express.
For your second query, Shopify Payments is only available to stores that operate in certain countries or regions. To see if Shopify Payments is supported in your country/region, you can check our resource here. To clarify, Shopify Payments allows you to accept all major payment methods as soon as you create your store.
