Having an issue within the product option values. The first product option becomes linked to the other variants below. for example Im creating sizes for prints and the first being 30x45cm, 40x60cm and so on. in the variant section below the 30x45cm is then linked to all the other variants for the product is there any way to have them sole by themselves? thanks in advance
Can you share a screenshot of how you did set up your options and variants?
Variants are all relying on each other since they can affect the inventory and price depending on the combination. Also, what is the issue you encounter with this? In 99% cases merchants actually need the variants to be linked together, since some variants from option A might not be available with some other variants from option B, or the price may vary based on the combination etc.
If your other variants do not need to modify the prices or inventory, then you may look into “line item properties”, which are equivalent to variants to some extent (but not linked to variants and can’t affect prices & inventories). This can be done with an app or with custom development, and beware it is not supported by all ERP.
hi thanks for the reply, i can see what you mean by it being helpful for inventory ect but in my case i need to options to be completely seperate as theyre different variants. Cant seem to upload the screenshot as its not supported from my platform. there is no other way to change it youre sayiong without changing the code?
