I have a client that wants to have a website that has product information and images, organized by collections (SKUS) but doesn’t want to have the pricing or purchasing modules activated.
Is this possible?
How do I set it up?
Will customers be able to find it with his custom domain linked?

Yes this is possible. You need to remove the pricing and set up it as no products. Depending on the theme you want to use, you can remove the buttons and pricing. You might need to have a developer set up for you. Your domain will still work

Unfortunately yes. The basic plans include free stuffs (see below). Shopify might be a little higher if you just want a basic one page website but if you are trying to store data from the customers or save some images, other platform offers more payments for storage.
I would say do more research.
