Can Shopify Lite be used on the Facebook and Instagram commerce pages?

Great question!

As of June 22nd, 2022, we have launched the Shopify Starter Plan! The Starter Plan is only $5USD per month and has replaced the Shopify Lite plan ($9USD/month). This plan is for new sellers who want to sell to their customers through social media platforms or messaging apps, without maintaining an online store.

The Shopify Starter plan includes just what you need to start selling your products to audiences on social media like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, Etsy, LinkedIn, and more. You can also share your products easily through email, SMS, and anywhere else you can think of. The Starter plan includes:

  • Unlimited product pages
  • Fast and secure checkout
  • Contact page for customer inquiries
  • Shopping cart to collect multiple purchases
  • Linkpop, the link in bio tool designed for commerce

Once you’ve established a customer base and proven there is demand for your product, you may want to explore the Shopify Basic plan, which includes value-added features like theme editing, blog posts, and more.
