So, when you see this metric. Usually people who in those region visit my web right?
But the thing is, I never promote this website. This website only for Indonesian customer, so when they go to our main website, the geotagging will detect that the customer is from Indonesia and will redirect them to our Indonesian website.
In Pakistan, we know where it come from since we ask our friend there to check our Indonesian website.
But in the US. We never give the Indonesian website address to them.
Can someone give me several explanation why the US people got into my Indonesian website?
They are not always people, search engine’s indexing your site show in there too. Our most hits from a city come from the nearest one goggle is based in (Dublin, we don’t ship there)
ps, you should now have the UK show in there as well (me)
It’s a possibility is all I’m saying, but I would suspect some of them would be. I don’t know where Indonesian sites are indexed from but would suspect the US hits will include search engines.
Some may be people who find your site through the search engines as it doesn’t force you to go to your main site it only gives you the option, I just clicked no and spent a while browsing through the indonesian version.
