Can someone take a look at my website?

  2. Screenshots (Click the image icon and upload screenshots from your local device): N/A

  3. What we are trying to achieve and what outcome we expect: I am a travel agency, and I wanted to see if you have any ideas on what I can do to increase engagement on my site and get people to book trips with me?

Hi @pathtravelllc

Welcome to the community.

I took a look

First thing, how can a person book a trip if you do not show it on your homepage, not in the menu? But I checked collections manually, entering the address bar. And I saw a few free trip packaging lists. No trips. No forms to book a trip, so not sure what you’re selling at all.

But let’s take a look at how to increase engagement and book trips. Your homepage is not so good. You have a video; most likely, people are looking at different places, images, hotels, and beaches. But they could look at baby pictures, cute animals  But to me, as a customer, I would have liked to see more of a video of some exotic place, some fun place, a place of great architecture, history, and more.

You should add your full business name in the banner and a button, so customers can know for sure where they are, and then click the button, and actually book something.

Your next big chunk of text is not a great way to introduce your business. People can not read that much text and that wide text. And between all that text, your name is lost. Not to mention that it looks completely AI-generated. Instead, use several image/ text and icon text sections to relay as much information as you can. Get images and videos of actual places customers can book; that should not be a problem. But also present benefits, in a more visual way, and easier to remember. And you need some credibility, like how long you’ve been working, how many successful trips, customer testimonials, and much more.

And do share full business details clearly, in the footer and dedicated page. You should know that there area lot of scam sites, and for travels people look a bit of security, not the cheapest one.

About page, again a lot of text full-width. Try to read that all by yourself  IT is hard and boring. Plus, AI-generated, maybe parts, that do not bring much trust. NO images.

You may have just started, as domain is just a month old, so you do have a lot more work to do. Both on-site and social networks can bring people to your site.

Good luck

Hey @pathtravelllc,

Welcome to Shopify Community, where you can get the guidance from the experts.

Happy to know that you lauch your site.

I’ve check your site, and I found that it’s the informational website. There is no Booking pages and enough information. Seems you just start it out.

I want to know whether you building this site by yourself or you hired an expert for that?

Hi, @pathtravelllc
For travel agencies, the gap between visitors and actual bookings usually comes down to a mix of clarity, trust, and friction in the user journey rather than just design.

A few areas I’d focus on:

1.Homepage clarity
Right now the homepage feels more informational than action-driven.

Adding more guided sections like Honeymoon Trips, Weekend Getaways, Family Tours, Budget Packages, and Trending Destinations would make the browsing experience feel more structured and help users discover trips faster.

  1. Trust signals (very important in travel)
Travel bookings are trust-based decisions, so reassurance matters a lot. Adding more visible testimonials, customer photos, clearer cancellation/refund information, and faster contact options like WhatsApp near key sections could help reduce hesitation and increase enquiries.

3.Stronger trip pages (conversion focus)
Making itineraries easier to scan, showing clearer pricing guidance, highlighting inclusions/exclusions, and placing enquiry buttons higher on the page could help improve conversions and reduce drop-offs during the booking process.

  1. Performance & speed (often overlooked)
Travel sites tend to use a lot of large imagery, which can slow down loading and hurt engagement. I also checked the PageSpeed Report which shows high FCP and LCP .

Optimizing images, reducing unused scripts/apps, enabling lazy loading, and improving mobile responsiveness can help keep users on the site longer and improve enquiry rates.

The site already has a solid foundation - I think the biggest gains will come from improving the mobile experience, simplifying the booking journey, and making enquiries feel faster and more guided for visitors.

If mobile speed is something you’re working on, tools like Website Speedy can help automate some of the optimization work around scripts and images. It is optional to use.
