Does the Shopify Translate & Adapt app provide options to create datafeeds to Google Merchant Center in the newly translated languages?

You can use the following app for that: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

You still need to use a translation app, but pretty much all the top apps are supported.

This is the app I use for my clients.

Thanks, will have a more in depth look at the app.

Maybe off topic but do you have any specific criteria that I should look for in translation apps or functionality that you would not recommend?

The end result with most of the top apps are all the same. The main difference would be pricing. And that is something my clients have complained about, some of these translation apps are too expensive for the return it generates.

Of course, it depends on how big your site is. The bigger the site, the better the results.
