Can we get shopify payments in payoneer gbp account?

Hi , I just setup my shopify payments and I want to recieve payouts can I attach my payoneer gbp account to recieve the payments?

Thanks for reaching out.

That is a great question! When you set up the Shopify Payments gateway by navigating to Settings > Payments, you will have the option to attach your bank account.

With that being said, if you have successfully setup your Shopify Payments gateway and would like to make changes to the bank account - you can do so by editing your banking information.

No my question is that, I want to attach my Payoneer bank account is this okay? because this is a virtual UK bank account.

Thanks for the quick response and clarification.

Looking into our Supported countries for Shopify Payments, you can use this specific bank account as long as it meets the following requirements:

  • The bank account is a full checking account (current account) with a bank in the United Kingdom in GBP currency.
  • The bank account is eligible for FPS transfers

If can confirm that the bank account is meeting these requirements to use Shopify Payments in the United Kingdom, you should be able to connect it directly by navigating to Settings > Payment and complete the setup with Shopify Payments.
