The new dashboard doesn’t show correct return data, there are discrepancies when matching with old dashboard data. Is there anyway we can shift to older dashboard as it was easier to track sales and returns, now the returns data is skewed so the numbers vary in range of 4-8%.
We found that in order to get the correct returns data, you need to add the returns of goods, shipping and taxes. Then you will see the amount of the full refund for the desired period.
But we would be happy to switch to the previous version of analytics, which is more convenient to use.
Can We move back to old store? If so please let me know how to do proceed
ahead.
This is the 5th post that I’ve seen complaining about the update. I haven’t seen one positive comment and Shopify has so far failed to address it. As far as I know there is no way to revert to the old version.
I talked with Shopify about the horrible new homepage and no way to revert to the old one. I have never seen a worse “update” on any website or program I have used. Best thing you can do is set up a chat with Shopify and let them know how you feel…
So we can’t see our top products for the day, pending and future payouts along with balances. This dashboard is useless.
The worst part is returns are sometimes in negative value and sometimes in positive value, so how to trust the sales number when it’s not consistent.
The new dashboard is a big downgrade for Shopify, it lacks a lot of options and functionalities compared to the previous version. Cant probably see returns (which is a main KPI in our business), and also struggling with applying timeframes.
Bad job Shopify
