I’m looking to personalise my checkout to help with conversions. Is it possible to add a banner at checkout?

At this time, it’s not possible to add a banner to your checkout page. Beyond that checkout customization options that are available in ‘Settings > Checkout and Accounts’, you are unable to customize the checkout. This is due to Shopify wanting to ensure that the checkout is as secure as possible for both customers and merchants.
Instead of adding a banner to your checkout page, have you considered adding an announcement banner to your store? Depending on the theme you’re using, you should be able to see the option to add such a banner to your store by going to ‘Online Store > Themes > Customize’ and then selecting 'Announcement Bar’ on the left hand menu that appears. Depending on the theme you’re using, you may be able to natively add this banner, or you may need to consider the use of third party apps! Check your theme customizer, and get back to me if the option isn’t present and we can see what apps we can find for you!
