Can you add a gift card and promo code simultaneously at checkout?

I would like to know if it is possible to add a gift card and a promo code at the same time.When I test it works every other time. We need to add a gift card that takes all the order amount and a promo code that allows us to know how much euro we owe to the affiliate. Do you have a solution to make this work?
