Would it be possible to set up on line purchases for specific booth numbers for an event? Once purchased the specific booth number would be removed from “inventory”. There are a total of 300 booth numbers.
Also, is it possible to upload a floor plan with booth numbers so that once a particular booth number is purchased, the booth number square on a floor plan would darken or show sold.

That is a great question, thanks for posting! You can absolutely sell booths for an event via Shopify! All you need to do is set up each booth as its own digital product and make sure to track inventory. The inventory will only be 1, and once it is sold, it will be marked as sold out.
However, your second request is a bit more complicated. At the moment we do not have any functionality within Shopify to achieve this. Additionally, I had a look at the Shopify App Store to see if there was anything that could replicate this, but I was not successful.
For very specific requests such as this, we recommend contacting a developer from the Experts Marketplace. The Experts Marketplace connects you with third party developers for hire, that specialize in all things Shopify! They should definitely be able to develop this for you.
