I want to change valid payment methods depending on markets.
I have 2 markets (1st: Domestic market, 2nd: global market).
I want to make “bank deposit” valid in domestic and invalid in global.
I want to make “paypal” invalid in domestic and valid in global.
Do you know how to change those availability depending on markets?
Yes, you can add validation using Shopify functions, but your Shopify store should be Plus.
How it works:
You create a payment customization function via Shopify CLI, and inside the function logic, enable/disable payment gateways based on the current market.

Yes, on Shopify, you can change which payment methods are available based on the customer’s market or region using the Shopify Markets feature combined with payment settings. And do you know that If you’re selling stucco repair services in Miami through your Shopify store, customizing payment methods by market can greatly enhance your customer experience.
For example, since your target market is primarily in South Florida, you may want to enable localized and trusted payment options like credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay—which are commonly used in the U.S. This ensures that Miami customers can easily and confidently book your stucco repair services online without payment friction.
Thank you for your reply.

Thanks Tapan for our reply!
I understood I can do that with Shopify Plus.
But unfortunately, my EC is not Shopify Plus.. so if you know is there other way to make this true, I really appreciate it.
Or even you know, there is no other way, I’ll be happy with that.
Thanks.
