Can you display multiple variant images based on color selection?

Is it possible to have multiple variant images and only show those as “main” images as per variant selected?

Eg. Product X has Color Red and Blue
When the user clicks the Red Swatch it will show 5 variant images all red and when Blue swatch is clicked only the blue variant images are shown

On the default product page, only one (the default variant) variant images are displayed

Basically having the default product behavior without variants, used for each variant color.

Our Symmetry and Showcase themes have this built-in now natively. So no apps are needed. We added it in the latest update. To learn the steps involved to make it work, you can see our support page on the topic.

We cannot make this work in other 3rd party themes so afraid if you ask the answer will be no.
