Anyone know a class action lawyer?

I recently searched for an item on the shop app, and completed the transaction. The shop no longer exists and I am stuck with the charges for an item I did not receive. I should be able to log onto the shop app and shop confidently. Shopify has responsibility for transactions conducted on their app. I know I am not alone and I am sure I am not the only one who would like to be made whole.

Shop/shopify is impossible to get ahold of and I cannot even file a report because the shop I was robbed by is no longer available and so my purchase link they ask for is not valid.

Shopify must be held accountable for fraud that they are profiting from.

Let me know if you pursue. We were just shut down with no explanation. This can’t be legal.

I get how frustrating it is when an online store disappears. It’s like they vanished into thin air! Finding a lawyer for a class action can be tricky, but options exist.

You should check into Mass tort lawsuits since they handle situations where many people are affected. Some firms specialize in these cases, so it’s worth looking into.
Just be sure to gather any evidence you have—like receipts, emails, or anything that shows you were a customer. Also, reaching out to others who might be in the same boat can make a difference. Sometimes, just chatting with fellow customers can lead to finding someone who knows a good lawyer.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience; it’s frustrating to deal with situations like this, especially when there’s no easy way to file a report. If Shopify facilitated the transaction, they should bear some responsibility for ensuring the legitimacy of the shops on their platform. A class action lawsuit could be a valid route if others have faced similar issues. Consulting a Dallas appeal lawyer might help you explore your legal options and assess whether a class action or another legal approach is feasible to hold Shopify accountable and seek restitution for your loss.
