Can you find ways to improve my shop kaffeekorrekte.de?

Hey guys,

are there some improvements for my Shopify shop kaffeekorrekte.de?

Would be glad if you could give me a review!

Cheers, Henning

There is a dedicated Store Feedback forum.
LOOK first then post, you wouldn’t walk into a jewelry store in mall asking them to critique your house.

Hi @KaffeeKorrekte

Henning, the store looks solid and the product range is well thought out. Covering espresso, filter, fully automatic machine coffee and even a subscription and B2B offering tells me you know your audience. That’s a strong foundation.

But the cart is where I’d focus your energy right now. Clicking add to cart and getting redirected to a separate page is one of those things that quietly kills sales without you ever knowing it. The customer was in the zone, ready to maybe grab another bag, and suddenly they’re on a checkout page before they’ve finished browsing. A slider cart keeps them right where they are and keeps that buying mindset intact.

Coffee is actually one of the best niches for in-cart cross-sells because the products complement each other so naturally. Someone adding a bag of espresso should see your filter coffee or your subscription option right there in the cart. Surfacing that at the right moment inside the cart is how you increase average order value without spending a single extra euro on ads.

The progress bar for free shipping is also something I’d add in there. Coffee buyers tend to stock up when there’s an incentive to do so, and showing them they’re only a few euros away from free shipping is usually all the nudge they need to throw in another bag.

One personal suggestion from my side, your subscription offering deserves way more visibility than it’s currently getting. Recurring revenue is the holy grail for a coffee store and most visitors probably don’t even notice it exists right now. Push that harder on the homepage and product pages.

On the apps side, don’t go installing separate tools for each of these cart features. It adds unnecessary load time and costs more than it should. Something like iCart handles all of it together cleanly.

Hi @KaffeeKorrekte ,

I like the concept around fair and sustainable coffee that story comes across well on the site. Kaffee Korrekte also does a good job highlighting the origin and tasting notes of each coffee, which helps build trust with customers.

A few small improvements you could consider on Homepage CTA, Add a stronger Shop Coffee button above the fold so visitors immediately know where to start.
Product discovery, Filters for roast type brew method or flavor notes could make it easier to browse.
Trust elements, Adding customer reviews or ratings on product pages can help increase conversions.
Bundles or subscriptions, Coffee stores often see higher AOV with bundle offers or a monthly coffee subscription.
Speed & mobile, Make sure images are well optimized since many shoppers will browse on mobile.

Overall it’s a clean store with a strong mission just a few UX tweaks could make it even more conversion-focused.

Got few small but effective suggestions.

  • Open social media links in a new tab for better user experience.
  • Since you are operating in Europe, adding a GDPR consent popup is highly recommended.
  • The header height feels quite large, reducing it by around 30% would improve the layout.

Hope it helps!

Not sure if you forgot or not but your contact information is only at the the footer and its small. When you click on it, all it says is “Test”…

I know that starting a website there is alot of work invovled but you as a business owner needs to go on your own website and make sure everything works and all the information is on there. First impression is everything.

Hi @KaffeeKorrekte

I just viewed your store.

Here are my suggestion.

  1. You need to cahnge the font-family.

  2. You need to move the search icon to the right

  3. Opacity does not looks good for homepage banner

  4. There is no specific separation for each section

  5. No quick view or quick add for the product

  6. There is too less CTA section on homepage

  7. On the other pages you can edit fonr-family and colors with designer. Actually it is not good to keep in dark.

    Hope this is helpful.
