Do you know if there a way to integrate Shopify Inbox on a custom Storefront ?

The problem is when we want to use Shopify Inbox with an headless usage of Shopify.
In this case, the frontend is developed with an external framework (or with Shopify Hydrogen). It is necessary to have access to the features an apps through the storefont API.
Unless i missed it, it seems to me that is not part of the functionality of Inbox for now. https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/inbox/setup
Do you now if Shopify is planning anything about this ?
