Can you leverage the App Proxy to host WordPress in a folder on Shopify?

We currently have WordPress and Shopify sites and would like to try to consolidate both under the same domain. One method that has been suggested is using the App Proxy capability to effectively embed WordPress under a path on the domain that Shopify is hosted on. Has anyone successfully done this with App Proxy or any other configuration?

Haven’t done this before and don’t do much with wordpress but you can pull in any external url into an app proxy url.
