Our app allows the seller to create a sku that represents a kit. Our app then explodes that sold SKU into multiple, additional SKUs to pick, pack and ship. This may result in 2 parcels being shipped for a single SKU on the order. When we post a fulfillment, we can post one for the ordered SKU, but we also have a second parcel (fulfillment) to post but those lines don’t relate to an line items that Shopify is aware of.
The fulfillment states that you can post without line items and that will represent the fulfillment for the entire order, but that also is not correct as we’ll have 2 fulfillments.
How can we post the second fulfillment with misc items? Ideally, we could still add the SKU, Title, Qty that shopify won’t throw an error as they won’t match those in Shopify or on the order, and then the customer can see which items are in that second fulfillment.
