Cancel transfer of development store currently in pending mode

Hi All,

I need help as there is no direct option to deal with this situation in shopify although so many users face the same issue. I tried to transfer the development store to the client but she couldn’t accept for some reason and now it’s in a “pending transfer” state, I need to cancel that transfer and get it back to its original owner address (mine).

Can someone please help here ?

It is possible in some cases to revoke a development store transfer. However, since this is specific to a development store connected to your Partner Dashboard, we will need to look into by authenticating your account. To do this, you can contact Partner Support directly through the Shopify Help Center.

I haven’t come across a pending transfer before where the client wasn’t able to accept. Are they running into an error message? If there’s any more detail you can provide, please let me know and I would be happy to consult our Partner Support team on your behalf.
