Cannot activate my facebook and instagram shop

Hello all,

I’m having serious challenges with launching facebook and instagram shop and i have tried the majority of what was suggested here but to no avail. I require your assistance.

I have followed the steps on shopify when it comes to adding the facebook channel, my items are approved my catalogue and the items show on the catalogue and items page on facebook business page (screenshot 1 & 2), however i keep on receiving the below errors message on my facebook business page (screenshot 3), for some reason items aren’t visible for review and i believe that that is the main reason I’m not able to have my shop made live.

I have deleted and readded the facebook sales channel to shopify several times to try to fix the issue and to no avail as well. please help as this is affecting my business and has become incredibly frustrating.

I have the same problem! Did you ever get a solution to this? I read the commerce requirements from Facebook (stumbled across a link somewhere) and they want you to have a large following before they’ll allow you to have a shop. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. I wonder if this is why they reject new Shopify stores. Don’t they realise that we would likely pay to run ads on their site if they allowed us to open a shop there?

Silly thing is that I had a shop set up linked to our Etsy store and these problems have only occurred not that I’ve started our Shopify store. I wish I’d never done it and just stuck with Etsy.

Please let me know if you found a solution?
